30 qualified inspections held in 90 days, or I keep working for free until you get them.
The Inspection Engine is everything that turns homeowners searching for help into inspections on your calendar, built and running within 7 days, with every account in your name and only one company taken in each city.
Takes about 2 minutes, then you pick a time for a 30 minute call.
Why more ads on their own don't fill your calendar.
When a homeowner spots a stair-step crack running up the basement block, water creeping across the floor after a heavy rain, or the door at the top of the stairs that suddenly won't close, they don't call the first company they find, they pull up two or three on their phone and compare.
They're scared it's going to cost $20,000, they're scared of a commissioned salesman talking them into piers they don't need, and they're reading your website looking for a reason to trust you, so whoever answers those worries and gets back to them first is usually who gets the inspection, and the others never even find out that homeowner was looking.
You'd never pour a new addition on a footing that's already settling, so why would you pour more ad money onto a website and a follow-up that are already letting good homeowners slip away?
You pay Angi for a homeowner who got sold to four other companies at the same time, so by the time you call back they've had three quotes and it's a race to the cheapest price, if they even pick up.
You drive forty minutes to look at a hairline crack for someone outside your area, or someone who only wanted a number to knock down the price of a house they're buying, and then you spend the evening writing up a quote that goes nowhere.
A homeowner fills in your form after dinner while the water's still on the floor, nobody calls them back until the next morning, and by then the company that texted them in two minutes has already booked the inspection.
You've paid someone every month for reports full of clicks and impressions, with the ad account set up in their name, and when the inspections didn't come in it was suddenly the algorithm's fault, or your sales process, or something on your end.
Every one of those is the same problem underneath, so I fix the foundations first and only then bring the traffic, because more homeowners sent to a setup that loses them just means paying more to lose them.
Where the inspection gets lost, and where it gets held.
How it usually goes
With the Inspection Engine
The homeowner was always there, the only thing that changed is what they found when they got to you and how fast somebody got back to them.
Everything done for you, in the right order, live within 7 days.
First, the foundations
Days 1 to 7Everything that decides whether a homeowner who finds you actually books, built before a single dollar goes into ads.
- 1Pages built to book inspections
Your service pages rewritten around what homeowners worry about, with your reviews, warranty and real job photos where they decide.
- 2A quote form that filters
The right questions up front, so people outside your area, renters and price shoppers weed themselves out.
- 3AI text back in 5 minutes
Every new lead hears from you within 5 minutes, day or night, while they still have the other companies open.
- 4Text and email follow-up
Automated follow-up that keeps chasing the homeowners who go quiet instead of letting them go cold.
- 5Tracking on every step
So you can see exactly which channel booked which inspection and what it turned into.
Then, the homeowners
Live in the same 7 days- Google Ads and Local Services AdsFor homeowners searching for foundation and waterproofing help right now.
- Meta adsFor homeowners who've noticed the crack or the damp smell but haven't started searching yet.
- SEO and your Google Business ProfileSo you show up in the map pack when people search near you.
- AI searchSo you're the company that comes up when a homeowner asks ChatGPT or Google's AI who to call.
Days 8 to 90: improve and scale
- ImproveWhat's booking inspections gets more behind it
- CutWhat isn't gets switched off
- ReportA straight weekly report of what I did, how many inspections were held and the numbers moving you toward your goal
Then round again, every week.
Your side
About an hour up front, then what you already do- Fill in the onboarding form
- Join a short kickoff call
- Approve the work before it goes live, if you want to
- Call back the homeowners who reply, fast
- Run the inspections and close the jobs
My side
Everything that gets those inspections onto your calendar- Research into your buyers, your area and your competitors
- Your pages, copy and quote form
- The 5 minute text back and every follow-up
- Tracking from the first click to the held inspection
- Google Ads, Local Services Ads, Meta ads, SEO and AI search
- Improving it every week and reporting back to you
If the inspections aren't held, I don't stop working.
I'd rather carry the risk than ask you to, because you've probably already paid someone who got paid whether your calendar filled up or not.
What 30 held inspections are worth to you.
Your numbers
Rough is fine, and nothing here is sent anywhere.
On your own numbers
On your numbers, 30 inspections is about 10.5 sold jobs and $84,000 in new work.
Who this is built for.
A fit if you
- Own an independent foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawl space or mold remediation company in the US
- Have happy customers and the Google reviews to show for it
- Run your own crews, and you or a salesperson run the inspections and close
- Are ready to put a real monthly ad budget behind it, paid straight from your own account
Not a fit if you
- Don't have reviews or past jobs that prove your work is good yet
- Can't fund ads right now
- Want someone else to run the inspections or close the jobs for you
- Just want the cheapest lead possible, whether it turns into a job or not

What happens when what people land on does the selling.
The last system I built got a past client 33 new customers within 4 days of it going live, with no ads, and every single person who filled in the form bought.
It's a long way from foundation repair, but the problem underneath was the same one most foundation companies have, people were finding her and nothing was turning them into customers, so I fixed that first and only then sent the attention to it.
It was the first time I had a system that actually worked.
Brooke H."Before working with Kevin, I had no customers and no reliable system to attract customers. Kevin built everything for me: the post, the funnel, the Google Form, and the entire system. What impressed me most was the speed and quality at every step. In only 4 days, the funnel brought 33 new customers. It was the first time I had a system that actually worked. Kevin made the process simple, handled everything professionally, and delivered results well beyond my expectations."
The payments from those 4 days.
26 of the 33 payments are shown here. All 33 orders came in within 4 days, and some customers paid on delivery, so a few payments are dated later. Tap any payment to see it bigger.
On our call I'll show you the same thing on your own website, exactly where homeowners are slipping away and what I'd change first, so you're judging me on your business and not on someone else's.
I'm Kevin, and I do the work myself.
I'm a marketer, and I built Underpin Scaling around one idea, that the foundations under your marketing have to hold before you pour any more money on top, which is the same thing you'd tell a homeowner about their house.
There's no senior guy on the sales call and a junior running your account afterwards, so the person who looks at your website on our call is the same person who writes your pages, runs your ads and sends you the weekly report, and that's exactly why I only take one foundation company in each city.
Questions owners ask.
Something else on your mind? Email me at kevin@kevinklem.com or message me on Instagram, and I'll answer it myself.
What counts as a qualified inspection?
A homeowner in your service area with a real foundation, water or crawl space problem who actually sits down with you or your salesperson for the inspection. We agree the exact definition for your business in writing on the call, before anything starts.
Is there a contract or a setup fee?
No. There's no contract and no setup fee, and every account, page and lead stays yours if we ever stop working together.
How fast does it go live?
Everything is built and running within 7 days of me having access to your accounts, and the rest of the 90 days goes into improving and scaling it.
Who pays for the ads?
The ads run from your own Google and Meta accounts and the spend goes straight to the platforms, never through me and never marked up. We work out the right budget for your area on the call.
Who answers the new leads?
Every new lead gets an automatic text within 5 minutes, day or night, and then you or your office call them back, run the inspection and close the job like you already do.
Why only one company per city?
Because if I ran ads for two foundation companies in the same area I'd be bidding against myself, and you'd never know whose side I was on.
I've been burned by an agency before.
Most of the owners I speak to have been, which is why every account is set up in your name from day one, you get a straight report every week in held inspections rather than clicks, there's no contract, and you see exactly what I'd change on your own website before you decide anything.
I already get most of my work from referrals.
Referrals mean your work is good, and they're never enough on their own, because some months are packed and others go quiet, so this puts a steady flow of homeowners on top of them and the follow-up I set up brings past customers back too.
I just paid for a new website.
Then you probably don't need another one, because what decides whether a site books inspections is the words on the page, how easy it is to book, where your ads send people and how fast every lead hears back, and most of that can be built on top of the site you already have.
Do you only work with foundation repair?
I work with foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawl space and mold remediation companies.
See if your city is still open.
It takes about 2 minutes, and if your area's free you'll pick a time for a 30 minute call straight after.
How it works
- Check your cityAnswer a few quick questions so I know your business before we speak, and see straight away if your city is still open.
- 30 minute callI show you on your own website where homeowners are slipping away and what I'd change, and you leave with a step by step plan you could put in place yourself, whether we work together or not.
- Live in 7 daysIf it's a fit, everything is built and running within 7 days, and the inspections start landing on your calendar.
